Incident Report: Duplicate Emails
Duplicate emails were unexpectedly being sent to both event organizers and attendees. In addition some messages were being sent to a recipient from another organization. We have paused automatic message sending until we can resolve the problem.
May 27, 2016, 3:52 PM - Automated messages sending is returning back to normal, but we are actively monitoring. If you receive duplicate messages or any experience any unexpected behavior please contact us.
May 27, 2016, 2:31 PM - We have deployed a fix to automate sends again. We are actively monitoring.
May 27, 2016, 10:37 AM - We have begun to process messages manually.
May 27, 2016, 7:13 AM - We identified the cause of the problem and are working hard to get it resolved.
May 26, 2016, 10:30 PM - We paused sending new messages.
May 26, 2016, 7:50 PM - We were notified from a customer that duplicate emails were being delivered
May 26, 2016, 12:17 PM - We released an upgrade to the messages system to process messages more efficiently and quickly.
