How to take a screenshot

A screenshot can be helpful in explaining something as it may be easier to show someone something rather than tell someone about it. Here are some tips on how to capture a screenshot on different devices.

Mac

You can capture your entire screen by pressing these keys on your keyboard for your Mac computer: command + shift + 3

Want to capture a specific area of the screen? Press these keys: command + shift + 4

Then select a specific area of your screen.

Your screenshots can be uploaded to your media library through your Event Smart dashboard --> Media --> Library --> Add New.

Another option is to use a service that offers sharing images such as  DropboxSnagitCloudupMonosnap, or Cloudapp.

Windows

You can capture your entire screen by pressing these keys on your keyboard for your Windows computer: prtscn

Want to capture a specific area of the screen? Press these keys: alt + prtscn

Your screenshots can be uploaded to your media library through your Event Smart dashboard --> Media --> Library --> Add New.

Another option is to use a service that offers sharing images such as  DropboxSnagitCloudupMonosnap, or Cloudapp.

iOS (iPhone, iPad)

To take a screen of the entire screen, press the following on your device: power button + home button
You can then email your screenshot to your email address or upload it to a service like  Dropbox from your device using the Dropbox app. Then you can share the screenshot to one of the screenshot sharing services mentioned above for Mac or Windows.
