Ticket Templates

Login to your Event Smart dashboard. Then navigate to Event Smart > Messages & Tickets and then use the arrows (pagination option) to click to the next page until you find the "Ticket" message type.

You may have to scroll to the next page to see the "Ticket" message type.

Once you find the "Ticket" message type, click the "HTML" or "Registrant" link in the Messenger column to get started editing the ticket template. For information about using the message template editor, please see the Messaging System documentation.

Designing the Ticket

You can customize the ticket using in-line html and css.

You can see what merge fields are available by selecting the Menu item next to the "Text" button:

Ticket Notice

The "Ticket Notice" message type is basically an email, automatically sent to all registrants in a particular registration, that includes a link to download the tickets for that registrant. When the registrant clicks the link, a new web page opens to display the ticket as web page.

To customize the "Ticket Notice" template, login to your Event Smart dashboard. Then navigate to Event Smart > Messages & Tickets and then use the arrows (pagination option) to click to the next page until you find the "Ticket" message type.

Display Answers to Individual Questions in Your Templates

Add the  [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_*] shortcode in a valid location, and use the question display text you are testing. In my case the question was “What color?” so when I added the shortcode it was [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* What color?] . I also prefaced the shortcode with the actual question text so I could tell that I was seeing the right message when I received it.

Note: It is VERY important that your question display text match exactly what the question is.
