How do I reschedule or move attendees?

The steps to move an attendee/registrant between an event are to cancel the existing registration and then manually create a new registration.

Avoid the numerous steps below and  move an attendee to a new event in just a few clicks with the Attendee Mover feature upgrade.

Part 1 - Remove any payments for a registrant/attendee

Working with a free registration? If so, then skip to part 2 in the next section.

1) Login to your Event Smart dashboard and then go to Transactions.

2) Click on a specific transaction for a registration that you are trying to remove.
3) Scroll to the payments area and delete the payment, set their registration status to cancelled, and confirm.
Here is an example of what the payments area looks like:

4) From here, you can go to the Registrations overview screen and trash the registrants.
The steps above will restore the now open spot back to the event as the payment has been removed and their registration status was updated to cancelled.

Part 2 - Cancel a free registration

2) Hover over the name of an event and click on Registrations
3) You'll now be viewing the registrations overview screen. Look for the registrant that you could like to cancel and click on their name
4) On the next screen, change their status to cancelled. This will restore the now open spot back to the event.
